TOP NEWS  :: Brands Hatch – Press Preview By JONATHAN REEVES ::  Brands Hatch – Press Preview By JONATHAN REEVES Steve Horne, Stuart Oliver and David Ball had a busy day at Brands Hatch – assisting with a Press ‘preview’ for the forthcoming Truck Superprix, the final event of the 2006 season on November 4/5. Look out for features on Steve in the coming issues of Motorsport News (25th October and 1st November). A detailed piece about Steve’s ERF will also appear in a future issue of Track and Race Cars magazine. If you live in the south the trucks will also feature in a preview feature in the Meridian region on ITV – scheduled for transmission on Friday 3rd November – around 18.00. Meanwhile Stuart was busy all day - looking after the TV crew from Fifth Gear. After some intensive personal tuition from Stuart, presenter Vicky Butler-Henderson took over behind the wheel of the MAN and attempted to beat the lap times previously set by the former BTRA and European Champion. Did she manage it? Sorry, we’re sworn to secrecy and you’ll have to tune in on Monday evening on Channel 5 at 20.00 (23rd or 30th October) to see. But the delightful Vicky was really enthusiastic about her first taste of truck racing – and told us that she had fulfilled a childhood ambition simply by driving a truck!
